A Cnergee concentrator is a central network appliance (either a physical device or a virtual machine) that acts as the core of an SD-WAN network. Its primary function is to aggregate all secure tunnels from remote branch offices (spokes) into a single, cohesive network at a central location (the hub). It's the central point where all the dispersed network traffic converges, is processed, and is then securely routed to its final destination, like a data center or the internet.
The Cnergee SD-WAN platform is built on a three-tier, secure-by-design architecture consisting of the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), the Concentrator, and the Orchestrator.
